Golf Course Qualified Greenkeeper or Groundsperson – Darwin Golf Club

 

Programmed Turnpoint are Australia’s premier Golf Course Maintenance Contractor servicing more than 11 golf courses around Australia. 

 

An exciting opportunity exists for a Greenkeeper’s role at Darwin Golf Club, located 13 kilometers from Darwin City. This is a full-time position with weekend work on a rotating roster whilst working in a great environment.  Remuneration will be commensurate with experience.

 

This is a highly challenging role and the successful applicant will be expected to have experience in the following areas:

 

  • Certificate 3 in Horticulture / Turf Management – an advantage but not essential
  • Experience managing warm season grasses an advantage but not essential
  • Relevant experience in the turf industry and golf course maintenance
  • Experience and knowledge in the application of chemicals and fertilisers- an advantage but not essential.
  • Must be able to communicate well and have the ability to work in a team environment.
  • Must be able to work within a safe working environment within OHSE guidelines.
  • Excellent work history and reliability

 

The successful applicant shall be self-motivated, punctual and have the ability to work in all conditions.
