Reporting to the Store Manager and working closely with the store team, this position is responsible for delivering the company key performance indicators relating to the Stockroom and building a team that is empowered to exceed.

Key responsibilities

• Contribute to the profitability of the retail operation by receiving, handling and managing the inventory of merchandise in a timely, efficient and organised manner
• Lead and develop the stockroom team to ensure effective stock control at all times
• Ensure shrink strategies are reviewed and implemented on an ongoing basis
• Drive the focus of Work Health and Safety (WHS) within the stockroom and store
• Management of the stores stocktake process
• Review and implement strategies within the store to improve efficiency.
  
  

Attributes you possess

• Previous experience in a fast-paced physical environment
• Proven ability to cope well under pressure
• A passion for the retail industry and exceptional internal and external customer service
• Highly developed attention to detail
• Sound knowledge of health and safety regulations
• Experience in managing budgets, interpreting financial reports and generating rosters
• Proven ability to manage the performance and development of a team
• Focus on driving productivity with team members
• Ability to build strong relationships with all stakeholders.
