As a Strategy & Transformation Analyst, you will play a critical role in supporting the execution of Country Road Group’s enterprise strategy. Reporting to the Head of Strategy & Transformation, you will contribute to strategic planning, initiative prioritisation, and performance tracking via our Transformation Centre. This role offers a unique opportunity to work alongside senior leaders, project teams, and cross-functional stakeholders to deliver data-driven insights, foster alignment, and keep the business focused on its most important priorities.
Please note that this role is part time , 3 days a week.
Key Responsibilities
Strategy Development
Conduct research, benchmarking, and analysis to identify market trends, consumer shifts, and competitor activity.
Support the development of business cases for strategic initiatives through data analysis and financial modelling.
Translate insights into actionable recommendations to guide strategic direction and decision-making.
Strategic Planning
Contribute to the annual strategic planning cycle by coordinating inputs, developing supporting materials, and tracking progress.
Assist in preparing high-quality presentations, discussion papers, and planning documents for Executive Leadership Team (ELT) and Board forums.
Collaborate across brands and functions to ensure alignment of strategic planning efforts.
Transformation Centre & Enterprise Engagement
Coordinate inputs and updates for the Transformation Centre’s governance forums (Tier 1–3).
Work closely with initiative owners, project teams, and cross-functional stakeholders to gather data, progress updates, and risk information.
Act as a connector across teams to embed consistent strategy execution disciplines and shared ways of working.
Oversight & Reporting
Maintain and update dashboards, scorecards, and initiative trackers reflecting progress against enterprise priorities.
Analyse initiative health, performance, and risks to support leadership reporting and decision-making.
Prepare monthly and quarterly reporting packs for ELT and Board review with a focus on accuracy and insight.
Key Capabilities
Experience in a similar role, preferably within a matrix organisation or retail environment and/or experience in management consulting or internal consulting role
Strong analytical skills with experience in data analysis, market research, and financial modelling.
Strong project management experience, overseeing transformation programs, and ensuring successful delivery of key initiatives.
Strong commercial acumen and deep knowledge of the retail industry.
Ability to think strategically and creatively to develop innovative solutions and drive organisational change
Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to collaborate and influence effectively across functions and levels.
Proficient in data analysis tools (e.g., Excel), presentation software (e.g., PowerPoint), Project Management software (e.g. Monday.com, Smartsheet’s)
