Purpose
Support the planner in projecting future sales identifying opportunity and risk at brand department level and recommending actions in season to trade the business. Supporting the Planner in end-to-end the inventory management and buying of all Wholesale core programs to ensure always in stock availability by size. Own and manage all wholesale reporting and support in the activation and management of online platform when additional coverage is required.
Key Accountabilities
Planning
Preparation of the Merchandise plans for the season. Creating seasonal budgets by category in line with divisional strategy within MFP. Re gular reforecasting of all categories in MFP in line with monthly timelines.
Assist Planner with range buying and quantification of Wholesale ranges across all brands aligned to target sell through metrics.
Planning Analysis
Review and action stock transfers when required to mitigate markdown risk.
Manage delivery schedule and into OFC reporting to advise monthly go lives of new product to the website.
Conduct adhoc product and category analysis and share with Wholesale team and Sales Agent Representatives in season.
Trading
Weekly trade reporting, providing analysis and recommendations on Sales, BGP & Stock targets.
Analyse weekly sales reports and propose in season trading actions at product level.
Statistical analysis, e.g. Colour and Print analysis.
Communication
Prepare and present class and category performance at weekly sales meetings and monthly meeting with Sales Agents as required.
Store visits on a quarterly basis to gain an understanding of the businesses and customer we cater to in Wholesale.
Liaise with Sales Agents on product feedback insights.
Key Capabilities
A relevant degree including, Commerce, Business Administration or Retail or a related field.
Prior experience in a planning role within retail
Highly analytical with an understanding of merchandise planning processes.
Proficient in advanced Excel and skilled in effectively using planning systems.
Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
Meticulous attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy.
