The Corporate Communications Manager position leads our corporate and internal communications discipline nationally, including ensuring all internal and external communications are of high quality, reflective of our strategy and the needs of our executive leadership team.
Working within the Corporate Communications and Public Affairs function, this multifaceted role is responsible for articulating CPB Contractors’ strategic story through the delivery of compelling content and campaigns that reflects our objectives while also celebrating our people’s expertise, project delivery excellence and collaborative approach to engaging with our clients, community and key stakeholders.
Most importantly this strategic role plays an active role in shaping our company message, working closely with internal stakeholders to ensure that every communication opportunity effectively enhances brand reputation, drives operational excellence, is reflective of the needs of our clients and supports CPB Contractors’ license to operate.
Additional accountabilities include;
- Develop and implement company-wide internal and external communications programs and campaigns across multiple channels to build brand advocacy, support business objectives and deliver on our corporate communications objectives.
- Enhance company reputation, client engagement opportunities and industry activities; including project awards, sponsorship and membership activities, SME and Senior Leader speaking opportunities advising on their strategic value and content.
- Develop and deliver internal communications that reflect CPB Contractors’ business priorities and culture, including leadership messages, intranet content and campaigns, events, messaging and supporting collateral.
- Work with subject matter experts to deliver communication tactics that support specialist functions including safety, recruitment, learning and development, Indigenous and social inclusion, and information and communications technology.
Our minimum requirements for this role are:
- Bachelor's degree in communications/marketing/public affairs and/or equivalent employment experience.
- 10-15 years’ communication experience in corporate communications.
- Experience and skills preferably in both internal and external communication.
- Able to work effectively in a lead, fast-paced environment.
- Demonstrated experience with a range of communication channels and platforms, including online and digital.
- Experience working in a complex business environment and with agency relationship management experience.
This role supports the CPB Contractors business across Australia, New Zealand and Papua New Guinea and will be based in Sydney.
