The Project

CPB Contractors is working on a large rail and infrastructure project as part of building Queensland’s future. This project will play an important role during the Brisbane 2032 Olympic and Paralympic Games while delivering improvements for everyday Queenslanders by providing more frequent and reliable services around Southeast Queensland.

Your Opportunity

As the Senior Planner you will provide planning expertise and developing knowledge to coordinate Time, Performance, Cost, Risk & Change management systems, procedures & processes. You will also:

  • Maintain standards and processes for the assessment and approval of programs and elevate any identified risks and issues with subcontractors to the Business & Systems Manager and/or Construction Manager as appropriate
  • Support the Planning Manager through the provision of progress reports for presentation to the Project Management Team.
  • Ensure main project schedules are kept up to date with actual as-built data
  • Ensure compliance with the project’s policies, objectives and statutory requirements. i.e., Project Controls Plan, Basis of Program
  • Record & analyse KPI’s and recommend areas of improvement to the team.

Desirable experience and qualifications include:

  • Demonstrated 3 to 7 years project delivery experience in infrastructure or building
  • Experience in Tender, delivery and strategic planning
  • Ability to collaboratively develop and manage complex programmes
  • Proven competency with current industry standard planning software including Primavera P6 (or other leading Enterprise CPM software), OPRA, Asta Powerproject, Microsoft Project, Synchro, Navisworks, SketchUp, TILOS, Chainlink
  • Relevant tertiary qualifications
