Your Opportunity:
This is your chance to join a Tier 1 construction contractor with a strong pipeline of major projects. Working as part of an experienced Pre-Contracts team you will have the opportunity to work on tenders for large scale infrastructure projects. Your professional preparation, competitive pricing and on-time delivery of tenders will maximise the probability of securing these profitable construction contracts.
- Lead estimating activities across SMP tenders and bids
- Develop detailed first-principles cost estimates
- Identify and assess project risks, opportunities, and cost drivers
- Contribute to value engineering and innovative delivery solutions
- Build strong relationships with internal stakeholders and suppliers
- Support bid strategy and ensure alignment with commercial objectives
- Ability to plan and sequence work packages using sound civil construction and project management methodology, considering available resources and expertise, client requirements, and profit targets
What you bring:
- Proven experience as an Estimator/Senior Estimator in SMP projects
- Strong first-principles estimating capability
- Experience leading pricing on major tenders
- Ability to identify and manage project risk and opportunity
- Strong stakeholder engagement and communication skills
- Proficiency in estimating tools and systems
