You’ll be across the detail when it comes to compliance, but just as comfortable out on-site running audits, spotting risks early, and working with people to get it right. It’s a busy environment, so being able to juggle priorities, stay organised, and keep things moving will set you up well.

Above all, we want someone who takes ownership, brings a practical mindset, and genuinely wants to make a difference to how safety shows up on this project.

  • Certificate IV in Work Health and Safety (or similar)
  • Solid experience working as a Safety Advisor in a construction environment
  • A strong grasp of current construction safety legislation
  • Comfortable working with Safety Management Systems and making them work in the real world
  • Confidence running site inspections, audits, and risk assessments
  • Return to Work Coordinator (Desirable) Experience leading investigations and writing clear incident reports (a big plus)
  • Someone who can stay organised, manage competing priorities, and keep things moving
  • Comfortable in the delivery of Toolbox Talks ensuring the quality of content & delivery for safety topics

Experience reviewing Safe Work Method Statements (SWMS) and facilitation of SWMS development workshops where necessary.

We are always looking for ways to make CPB Contractors a more rewarding place to work and offer a unique set of benefits, including:

  • Genuine career pathways supported through training, talent identification and professional development
  • Exposure across all construction sectors that enables promotion opportunities
  • competitive remuneration and excellent benefits including a health and wellbeing program, discount portal and company-funded salary continuance insurance
