Your opportunity

This role will see you take ownership of a significant precast package, working alongside supervisors, subcontractors, suppliers and project leaders to keep work moving from planning through to installation.

You'll be involved in the day-to-day realities of delivery. Reviewing drawings, coordinating with suppliers, resolving site issues, tracking progress and making sure everyone has what they need to get the job done. It's a role for someone who likes being close to the work, enjoys solving problems and isn't afraid to pick up the phone or walk onto site to find an answer.

The precast package is a critical part of the build, so you'll need to stay across the detail while keeping an eye on the bigger picture. No two days will be the same, but you'll be trusted to take ownership, build strong relationships and help drive outcomes.

What you'll be doing

• Taking ownership of the precast package from planning through to installation
• Coordinating drawings, RFIs, design changes and technical queries
• Working closely with suppliers and subcontractors to keep manufacturing and delivery schedules on track
• Managing interfaces between design, production and site teams
• Identifying risks, constraints and programme impacts before they become issues
• Monitoring progress and helping keep works on schedule
• Supporting forecasting, reporting and commercial activities as required
• Ensuring works are delivered safely and to the required quality standards
• Building strong working relationships with site teams, consultants and subcontractors

What you'll bring

• Experience as a Project Engineer, Site Engineer or similar construction role
• Exposure to precast, structural concrete or large-scale building packages
• Strong planning and coordination skills
• The ability to build productive relationships with subcontractors, suppliers and project teams
• A practical approach to problem-solving and decision-making
• Confidence managing competing priorities in a fast-paced environment
• Strong communication skills and attention to detail
• Experience on major commercial, industrial, infrastructure or mission-critical projects will be highly regarded
