The Project
CPB is working on a large infrastructure project as part of building Queensland’s future. We are currently seeking experienced Project Engineers to join our project delivery team on a project based in Brisbane.
Your Opportunity
As a Project Engineer, you will be working closely with the Project Manager and wider delivery team, responsible for the engineering and coordination of allocated work packages across this major infrastructure project.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage the engineering and technical delivery of allocated rail and civil work packages from planning through to completion.
- Coordinate subcontractors, consultants and suppliers, ensuring works are delivered safely, on program and to specification.
- Manage program, procurement, cost tracking, quality and technical documentation for allocated packages.
- Review designs, resolve technical issues and coordinate RFIs, ITPs, inspections and approvals.
- Work closely with the Project Manager, Site Engineers and construction teams to drive project delivery, safety, quality and commercial outcomes.
Our minimum requirements for this role are:
- Tertiary qualification in Civil Engineering, Construction or a related discipline.
- Minimum 4 years of experience as a engineer on major infrastructure projects, ideally rail, transport or large-scale civil construction.
- Proficiency in engineering software tools and knowledge of relevant industry codes, standards and regulations.
- Strong project management skills, including the ability to prioritise tasks and manage deadlines effectively.
