Survey Data Manager

Gateway Connect Joint Venture are currently seeking an experienced Survey Data Manager to join the Upgrade of the Gateway Motorway between the Deagon deviation and the Pine River bridge.

What can our construction projects build for you?

CPB Contractors along with our industry partners has been selected as preferred proponent to deliver a key piece of Brisbane infrastructure for the Department of Main roads. The Gateway Joint Venture comprising of CPB, BMD and Georgiou will deliver the deliver the full scope of works through to 2030.

This includes:

• Upgrade of the Gateway Motorway, with added lanes and the ability to increase speeds along the motorway by reconfiguring the road alignment.
• Significant revamp of the Deagon Deviation intersection with new off and on ramps giving better access to the Redcliffe peninsula
• Redesign of the Northern end of Gympie Road as it joins the start of the Bruce Highway, added ramps and allowing for increased traffic flow.
• New shared paths and access areas for the local communities.

Your Opportunity

Reporting to the Survey Manager, CPB Contractors are currently seeking a Survey Data Manager on the project. Responsibilities will include:

• Maintain the master as-constructed projects by consolidating field survey data, completing quality checks, managing revisions, and identifying missing or outstanding information.
• Prepare, check and publish models from IFC design for field set-out.
• Maintain monitoring registers and reporting, including baseline results, movement trends and trigger levels, with timely escalation of any threshold exceedances.
• Maintain complete and coordinated PUP models.
• Communicate risks and their controls within a timely manner to the Construction Management team.
• Identifying improvements to systems, processes and/or products within a project.
• Supporting and maintaining strong relationships and clear lines of communication with project teams.
• Actively contribute to the identification of and response to project risks and opportunities

Minimum requirements for this role include the following:

• Relevant tertiary qualifications
• Extensive surveying experience in Civil / Road
• Demonstrated 5 to 7 years project delivery experience in infrastructure or building as a Surveyor or Senior Surveyor
• Able to collaboratively develop and manage complex surveying programmes
• Excellent communicator within project team and ability to establish relationships at all levels
• Previous experience or exposure with 4D planning and BIM
• Ability to establish performance measurement & reporting on new projects aligned to the best practice including effective Dashboards & KPM's
• Personal Attributes – respectful, motivated, high attention to program detail and reporting accuracy, highly efficient / fast learner
• Proven ability to effectively engage and communicate with senior stakeholders and project team to achieve best for project outcomes
• Experience with 12d software will be highly regarded.
• While the role is predominantly data-focused, fieldwork may form part of the position based on project requirements.
