Your opportunity We are seeking to appoint a highly experienced Quality Manager to support large scale civil and structural project based in NSW. The role will be focussed on effective implementation of the company integrated management system on the project so that it meets national and international standards and complies with legislative and regulatory requirements. Your responsibilities in the role will include: • Ensure compliance with all relevant legal and regulatory requirements and all relevant company business standards, processes and Group policies • Monitoring and maintaining the Quality requirements of the management system • Assessing sub contractors' / suppliers' ability to meet Quality and SH&E requirements of projects • Initiating noncompliance reports and support revision actions • Assisting in the development of the standards and processes to ensure the project complies with regulatory, governance and environmental requirements, including updating management system documentation as required • Informing, educating and updating Senior Management and staff on their obligations • Planning, implementing, controlling and maintaining the Quality requirements of the management system to enable timely and accurate reporting and analysis • Maintaining productive relationships with internal clients, relevant departments and other key stakeholders • Assisting Project Managers with risk management for project execution To be successful in this role, you will require: • Tertiary qualification preferably in Civil Engineering • 5-10 years relevant experience in construction of RMS projects • Lead Auditor qualification in one or more of Quality, Safety & Health and environmental disciplines (ISO 9001-2008/2015) • A strong client focus and excellent relationship management skills, with the ability to negotiate and influence • Strong planning & organising ability and a penchant for problem solving • Analytical and strategic thinking with demonstrated commercial focus and business acumen • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal If you are interested in this role and meet the above requirements, please apply below.
