The Project
CPB Contractors, in Joint Venture with Sedgman, SCJV has been selected by BHP to undertake the Western Ridge Crusher Project, involving construction of a new primary crusher, a 12-kilometre overland conveyor, radial stacker, and associated stockpiling systems, with a capacity of 30Mtpa. The Project is located on Nyiyaparli Country, approximately 21 Kilometres southwest of Newman, in the Pilbara region of Western Australia. Works are commencing now and will go through until mid 2026.

As a HSE Advisor you will play a key role by delivering accurate and timely guidance of CPB’s safety and health management systems requirements, system applications, support the project team and contribute greatly to the successful and safe delivery of the Project. Our minimum requirements for this role are:
- Certificate IV in Occupational Health & Safety
- 2 years’ experience in a similar role on SMPE&I construction projects
- Drivers licence and construction industry white card
- Sound understanding of Construction Safety legislation
- Demonstrable experience of Safety Management System implementation
- Effective verbal and written communication skills
- Good personal time management skills
- Ability to effectively prioritise and manage assigned workload
- Willingness to work on a 14 days on, 7 days off, Fly in Fly out roster.
