The Project

The project is located in remote, regional Western Australia. The overall project is more than 2 years in duration, involving significant construction upgrades to airfield asphalt and concrete pavements and related infrastructure assets.

Your Opportunity

We are seeking expressions of interest from a experienced Engineers and Supervisors with airfield runway pavements, asphalt and road pavement construction background, to join our multi-disciplinary project team. Worksites will be located in remote Western Australia, FIFO from Perth and staff will be working a 14/7 Roster.

Our minimum requirements for this role are:

  • minimum 5 years’ experience in similar roles, specifically involving airfield runway pavements, asphalt and road pavement construction
  • willingness to work a FIFO 14/7 roster in remote WA.
  • proven commitment to promoting safety, quality and environmental compliance
  • collaborative team attitude with frontline operational co-ordination experience
  • demonstrated ability in developing strong relationships with subcontractor and supplier partners
  • high level understanding of resourcing, technical, scheduling and contract management to achieve and exceed safety, quality, time and cost objectives
  • extensive experience in site-based construction roles, client interface and project management systems
  • experience with Defence processes and project delivery will be highly regarded
  • able to meet Department of Defence security clearance requirements (DCAC)
