The Role:-

  • Demonstrated organisational, planning and coordination skills
  • Attend and actively participate in site pre-start meetings on a regular basis 6:30am start 
  • Ability to communicate effectively within all levels of a major project construction environment
  • Desire to learn effective skills within a major construction environment with a diverse range of employees, sub-contractors and clients
  • Ability to understand and provide advice on the correct application of enterprise agreements
  • Ability to conduct an investigation
  • Has the ability to influence the outcome and become an advisory component
  • Good understanding of the workings within FWC regarding conferences, hearings and arbitration
  • High level of confidentiality and discretion
  • Good understanding of FWC ruling and determinations that would be relevant to CRR project 
  • Ability to employ initiative and find solutions, prioritise and exercise discretion

Your experience and skills

  • Tertiary Qualification in HR or IR or equivalent experience/qualifications 
  • Good working knowledge of Fair Work Act and its practical application
  • Good working knowledge of Right of Entry legislation and application
  • Proficient in MS Office including Excel
  • 3+ years experience in IR/ER in Construction/Mining or heavy industry
