CBGU JV brings together partners CPB Contractors, BAM, Ghella and UGL to deliver the Tunnel, Stations and Development (TSD) package for Brisbane’s Cross River Rail.  Cross River Rail is a new 10.2 kilometre rail line from Dutton Park to Bowen Hills, including 5.9 kilometres of tunnel under the Brisbane River and CBD.  CBGU JV will deliver the underground works of the project, including tunnelling, four new underground stations, an over-station development at Albert Street and an above ground retail plaza at Roma Street.

As a key member of the team, your leadership skills will ensure that all work meets the standards in relation to safety, quality, schedules and cost.  In this role you will be leading the Construction team working across various rail sites within the TSD package.  We are interested in your extensive construction experience within the Rail sector, proven leadership skills, and adaptability in a fast paced environment.

You will be responsible for:

  • Oversight of CBGU JV Services supervision and associated trades
  • Understanding and communicating CBGU JV electrical safety standards and compliance of the same
  • Driving consistency through results in works completion inclusive of documentation
  • Interfacing with external work groups as part of rail and project-wide services trades. This includes leading, scheduling and finalising interface work arrangements

Minimum requirements for this role include the following:

  • Relevant Electrical Qualifications
  • Tier 1 experience in infrastructure projects, rail projects (highly regarded)
  • Familiar with all aspects of Commercial and Infrastructure and associated Australian Standards and Codes of Practice
  • Familiar with completions programs (such as Hexgon / Completions Connect / other) and Quality Assurance
  • Highly developed communication, negotiation and influencing skills
  • Be solutions orientation and able to manage multiple complex tasks simultaneously
