CBGU JV is working on Queensland’s largest infrastructure project and we’re building our team for the future. CBGU JV brings together CPB Contractors, BAM, Ghella and UGL to deliver the Tunnel and Station Package for Brisbane’s Cross River Rail, the 10.2 kilometre rail line between Dutton Park and Bowen Hills, including 5.9 kilometres of tunnel under the Brisbane River and CBD. The project also includes construction of four new underground stations at Roma Street, Albert Street, Boggo Road and Woolloongabba, where the future upgraded Olympic stadium will stand.

The Interface Manager will sit within the respective Testing & Commissioning team reporting to the General Manager Engineering. You will effectively coordinate and manage the key project interfaces.

You will be responsible for:

  • Manage and take ownership of successfully coordinating and managing key project interfaces;
  • Responsible for managing and updating the interface documentation for definition and control throughout their life cycle;
  • Implement the system by which the parties coordinate their interface activities;
  • Define the actions for each of the teams involved with interfaces, ensure accountable follow up of required actions and track to action completion;
  • Facilitate communications and conflict resolution between external parties. Escalate unresolved issues to management;
  • Promote clear and consistent communication among the involved project team members, and to coordinate communication to external stakeholders, for transmitting interface information and to determine their Maintenance / O&M requirements.

Minimum requirements for this role include the following:

  • Interface Management experience for Railway systems or major infrastructure projects, with working knowledge of Systems Assurance / System Engineering principles.
  • Effective at documenting technical solutions.
  • Minimum 5 years relevant experience.
  • Enthusiastic, energetic and motivated approach to work.
