Who are we?
CBGU JV brings together partners CPB Contractors, BAM, Ghella and UGL to deliver the Tunnels and Stations package for Brisbane’s Cross River Rail. Cross River Rail is a 10.2 kilometre rail line between Dutton Park and Bowen Hills, including 5.9 kilometres of tunnel under the Brisbane River and CBD. The project also includes construction of four new high-capacity underground stations at Boggo Road, Woolloongabba, Albert Street and Roma Street station.
About the opportunity:
We are currently recruiting for a Electrical/Communication Supervisor to join our JV team in the sunny city of Brisbane.
In this role you will coordinate all direct report site employees, plant resources and subcontract teams to achieve quality and safety objectives in accordance with the project programmes and schedules on the Cross River Rail – Tunnels & Stations Project.
In this role, you will be responsible for:
• Maintaining a comprehensive working knowledge of the documents, the specifications, the EBA and safety and environmental regulations.
• Effectively coordinating and supervising the utilisation of all on-site resources for the Site.
• Managing the work performance of self and direct reports.
• Ensuring subcontracts act safety and comply with safety requirements.
• Ensure compliance with all relevant legal and regulatory requirements and all relevant Company and Group policies and processes.
• Procurement Preparation of materials required to complete works.
• Implementation of the CEMP and ensuring Construction staff understand their responsibilities and duty of care.
Minimum requirements for this role include the following:
- Electrical trade qualification.
- Electrical Worker A Grade licence.
- ACMA Cabler Licence.
- 8+ years experience supervising and leading a team of trades in a large infrastructure projects.
- Experience in liaising with multi-disciplined stakeholders simultaneously.
- Effective leadership skills in managing relationships with sub-contractors and suppliers to successfully deliver project outcomes.
