This is a busy Brisbane based project with our office based at Milton. The role is office based Monday - Friday. We seek to appoint an experienced recruiter who can work in a busy project recruitment team. 

Reporting to the Recruitment Lead, 

The Role

  • This is an office based, team focused role at the Milton Project Office Monday - Friday
  • Conduct sourcing of talent including preparing job ads, screening, coordinating interviews, reference checking and candidate management to deliver an exceptional candidate experience - full end to end recruitment cycle 
  • Build talent pipelines and ensure we have strong talent pools
  • Explore proactive sourcing strategies and provide advice on recruitment processes, market insights and talent initiatives
  • Corresponding with successful candidates between offer and commencement on project 
  • Ensure all procedures are adhered to and appropriate authorisation received for all decision
  • Accurately maintain all records of recruitment and applicants within the filing structure and software packages (Pageup) 
  • Work collaboratively and support the Project Managers and Leads to manage their resourcing requirements within required timeframes
  • Identify, coordinate and engage with internal and external recruitment teams/providers, with approval from the HR Manager
  • Assist with monthly reporting and the development of reporting tools

Your experience and skills

  • Previous experience delivering end-to-end white-collar recruitment (ideally in engineering, construction in-house or agency) 3+ years.
  • Excellent personal skills to build relationships with candidates and stakeholders
  • An adaptable recruitment approach to deliver best outcomes, while influencing a focus on high quality hiring.
  • A team approach to getting the best results
  • Enthusiasm to find the right candidate for the role
  • Excellent communication and ad writing skills
  • Proficient in MS Office including Excel
  • Proficient using Pageup or equivalent recruitment software
