The Project

The Canberra Light Rail Joint Venture between CPB Contractors and John Holland is a major infrastructure project aimed at enhancing Canberra's public transport network. This project will deliver significant upgrades and new infrastructure to support the growing needs of the community.

The project includes:

  • Construction of new light rail lines and stations
  • Upgrades to existing transport infrastructure
  • Integration with other public transport systems
  • Sustainable and innovative construction practices

Your Opportunity

Reporting to the Senior Contract Administrator, you will be part of the project commercial team and responsible for:

  • Management of subcontractor claims for progress and variations, through to final account
  • Ensuring contracts and conditions are suitable to project interests and contract conditions
  • Compilation of portions of head contract payment applications
  • Month-end financial reporting

 Minimum Requirements

  • Well-developed experience within a contract administration or quantity surveying capacity
  • Employment history that includes major construction projects
  • Construction project experience
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Construction Management, Accounting, Quantity Surveying, or a related field
