Reporting into the Group Manager – Diversity, Indigenous and Social Engagement, this position will drive strategic direction and governance in Indigenous participation and engagement for the QLD/PNG Business Unit and the WA/SA Business Unit.

Based in Brisbane, this critical role will enhance business outcomes and social impacts in project delivery. It will also:

  • Assist projects to understand and implement their social procurement requirements and Indigenous reporting processes. 
  • Provide advice and assistance to implement initiatives that will assist the projects and work-winning teams to meet their targets. 
  • Develop and support the creation and implementation of the Indigenous engagement strategy in alignment with the actions and deliverables of the company’s Reconciliation Action Plan and Diversity Dimensions.
  • Assist with the development and implementation of the Reconciliation Action Plan.

Our minimum requirements for this role are:

  • Demonstrated experience in social procurement or similar role 
  • Experience in a large organisation, a construction-related field, or supplier diversity and social procurement in government would be advantageous   
  • Knowledge of government policies and requirements in the construction industry 
  • Relevant Degree or formal qualification
  • Completion of a relevant Institute of Applied Technology - Construction course is highly regarded
