The Project
The project is in the Defence sector on sites located in regional Western Australia. The overall project is more than 2 years in duration, involving significant construction upgrades to airfield asphalt pavements and related infrastructure assets.
Your Opportunity
As Senior Planner role you will be responsible for planning activities including scheduling and updating in Primavera P6, reporting, providing solutions, and interfacing across the project. We are interested in your previous high level planning experience on a major construction project, expertise in P6, adaptability and solutions orientated approach. This role will be based in our Perth head office with site visits if/when required.
Our minimum requirements for this role:
- Qualifications in Civil Engineering, Construction or other relevant qualifications
- Extensive relevant industry planning/scheduling experience on large scale civil infrastructure projects
- High level ability in recommending mitigating measures for project delays and providing schedule delay impact analysis and forecasting
- High level ability in maintaining productive relationships with the Project Team, client representatives and sub-contractors
- Experience in Defence and airfield project delivery is highly regarded.
- FIFO experience and the ability to adapt to a dynamic project environment.
- Eligibility to meet Defence security clearance requirements (DCAC).
