About the Opportunity: 

As People & Culture Director, you will set the strategic direction for HR across complex, high-profile projects. Partner with senior leaders to build capability, foster inclusion, and ensure compliance while driving organisational performance. You’ll work closely with senior leaders to build capability, foster inclusion, and ensure compliance across complex projects. 

 Key Responsibilities: 

  • Lead and inspire a high-performing HR team to deliver excellence. 

  • Develop and implement operational plans aligned with business objectives. 

  • Drive workforce capability and training initiatives through targeted training and development  

  • Manage workplace relations and mitigate industrial relations risk. 

  • Use data-driven insights to make inform decisions and improve outcomes. 

What We’re Looking For: 

  • Exceptional leadership skills with the ability to influence at executive level. 

  • Tertiary qualifications in HR or related discipline. 

  • 10+ years’ experience in HR leadership within large organisations. 

  • Industry exposure in construction, civil, rail, transport or defence 

  • Strong knowledge of employment legislation and industrial relations. 

  • Proven ability to lead teams through change and manage complex stakeholder relationships. 

  • Collaborative mindset with strong business and financial acumen.
