Your Opportunity

We are currently seeking an Electrician to join our APLNG project team. This role is fulltime and based onsite on FIFO arrangement from Brisbane working 18 days on 10 days off roster.

Reporting to the Electrical Supervisor, you will be working on the following:

• Gas gathering wellsites low voltage and instrument installations including:
• LV, UPS and battery testing;
• Micro turbines
• Telemetry
• Instrument calibration and VSD set up
• Fault finding and rectification
• Compliance with Hazardous Area installation standards
• Ensuring all required Wells site build quality documentation is completed on the Clients electronic construction and completions systems (CCMS) including, FICs, ITRs, As-builts reports and punch lists.

Our minimum requirements for this role are:

• QLD Electrical trade qualification, LV rescue and CPR qualifications (essential)
• 2 years + post trade experience on a large-scale Oil & Gas
• Hazardous Area Cert IV
• LV Electrical installation and Testing experience.
• Current QLD Driver's license
• An understanding and demonstrated commitment to OH&S, risk management and hazard identification

Applicants with the following will be highly regarded:

• Experience and qualifications in HV Switching (HVIA)
• RAYCHEM & NEXANS encapsulated buried Joints up to 22kV
• RAYCHEM & NEXANS Terminations up to 22kV
• High Voltage Cable, Transformer and RMU VLF testing
• LR Driver License
