Your opportunity
Reporting to the Project Manager, the Senior Project Engineer will sit within the project team and be accountable for:
- Lead and manage building construction projects from planning through completion.
- Coordinate with clients, consultants, subcontractors, and internal teams to ensure smooth project execution.
- Monitor on-site progress, ensuring adherence to project schedules, specifications, and safety standards.
- Provide technical expertise and resolve engineering and construction issues.
- Oversee project planning, resource allocation, and cost control to meet budget requirements.
- Ensure compliance with all regulatory, quality, and health & safety standards.
- Prepare and present regular progress reports to stakeholders.
- Review drawings, specifications, and contractor deliverables for accuracy and constructability
Our minimum requirements for this role are:
- A bachelor’s degree in a relevant engineering discipline from a recognised tertiary institution
- Manage self and team within discipline to deliver work between $10M and $50M
- Development methodologies to ensure compliance with scope of works and technical criteria (within discipline)
- Demonstrated commercial experience to include planning up to 3 months ahead, weekly reporting on progress against plan and cost, reporting on risk and developing and implementing risk treatment plans
