CPB Contractors is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Submissions Coordinator to join our Bid Strategy & Process team. This role is critical in supporting the development of high-quality, compliant and persuasive proposals that help secure major projects and drive business success.
About the role
The primary purpose of this role is to provide professional coordination across bid teams and support the delivery of compelling, client-focused submissions, tenders and presentations. Working in a fast-paced and collaborative environment, you will play a key role in ensuring all submissions are strategically aligned, well-structured and delivered to the highest standard.
Your key responsibilities will include:
- Submission Planning & Strategy
- Analysing client requirements and developing submission responsibility matrices
- Supporting the development of win themes, differentiators and key messaging
- Content Development
- Writing clear, engaging non-technical content
- Editing and refining technical inputs for consistency and quality
- Developing presentations, CVs, project sheets and supporting materials
- Coordination & Production
- Coordinating inputs from multiple stakeholders to meet deadlines
- Compiling, formatting and quality-checking submissions to CPB standards
- Managing SharePoint bid sites and document access
- Review & Quality Assurance
- Coordinating multi-stage bid reviews (bronze to platinum)
- Ensuring all deliverables are accurate, complete and compliant
- Knowledge Management & Continuous Improvement
- Maintaining submission libraries and templates
- Contributing to process improvements and best practices
About You – Qualifications & Experience
To be successful in this role, you will bring:
- A Certificate, Diploma or Degree in business, marketing, journalism or a related discipline
- 3+ years’ experience in a similar role (construction or infrastructure preferred)
- Strong writing and editing skills, with the ability to translate complex information into client-focused content
- Proficiency in MS Word, PowerPoint, SharePoint and Adobe Acrobat
- Excellent organisational skills with strong attention to detail
- The ability to manage multiple deadlines in high-pressure environments
- Experience coordinating submissions and publishing deliverables (budget awareness desirable)
- Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills
- A proactive, collaborative mindset with a focus on continuous improvement
- Demonstrated ability to influence and contribute within team environments
