Your opportunity 

 

  • Coordinate site operations on a data centre project in Tullamarine, Melbourne, leading teams, and subcontractors to achieve safe, high-quality, and on-time project delivery.

 

Reporting to the Superintendent, the Supervisor will sit within the project team and be accountable for:

  •  Maintain a thorough working knowledge of building contracts, construction drawings and specifications, Enterprise Bargaining Agreements (EBA), and all relevant safety and environmental regulations.
  • Coordinate and supervise on-site building activities, including trades, subcontractors, plant, and materials, to ensure efficient workflow and adherence to construction schedules.
  • Ensure all site personnel, including subcontractors and labourers, complete required inductions and are compliant with site and project requirements before commencing work.
  • Monitor daily construction progress across building works, ensuring compliance with quality standards, safety procedures, and environmental controls.
  • Oversee labour tracking and ensure accurate, timely submission of timesheets to the payroll office in accordance with project deadlines.
  • Manage site logistics, including deliveries of construction materials and plant, allocation of storage areas, site security, and maintaining high standards of housekeeping across the building site.

Our minimum requirements for this role are:

  •  AQF Certificate II in Construction (or equivalent)
  • Managing site security and material/plant deliveries and storage and general housekeeping
  • Site experience as a leading hand
  • Applying principles of construction to deliver works in accordance with scope of works technical criteria (SWTC)
  • Demonstrated commercial experience includes planning up to 4 weeks ahead and monitoring of resources within area of accountability
  • Conduct own work and teams according to site SHEQ
