CPB Contractors is part of the ACS Group, the world’s leading data centre builder, with more than 9GW delivered globally across the US, Europe and Asia Pacific.
Together with our global peers, Leighton Asia and Turner, we deliver mission critical facilities for major technology clients, supporting the infrastructure backbone of the AI economy.
Your opportunity
We are seeking a Safety Advisor to support the successful delivery of a major data centre project, driving the next wave of digital and AI-enabled growth. We are seeking experienced professionals with a track record of delivering data centre projects and an understanding of the complexities of hyperscale and enterprise-grade environments. This is a career-defining opportunity to contribute to a complex, high-value project and play a key role in its successful delivery through construction, commissioning and handover.
We’re looking for a Safety Advisor who’s not just ticking boxes, but actually cares about how things run on site. Someone who’s confident stepping in, having real conversations, and helping teams lift their standards day to day.
You’ll be across the detail when it comes to compliance, but just as comfortable out on-site running audits, spotting risks early, and working with people to get it right. It’s a busy environment, so being able to juggle priorities, stay organised, and keep things moving will set you up well.
Above all, we want someone who takes ownership, brings a practical mindset, and genuinely wants to make a difference to how safety shows up on this project.
Our minimum requirements for this role are:
- Certificate IV in Work Health and Safety (or equivalent)
- Proven experience as a Safety Advisor within a construction environment
- Strong understanding of current WHS legislation and industry best practice
- Experience working with Safety Management Systems in a practical, project-based environment
- Experience conducting site inspections, audits and risk assessments
- Experience reviewing Safe Work Method Statements (SWMS) and facilitating SWMS workshops where required
- Confidence delivering engaging Toolbox Talks and safety briefings
- Experience leading incident investigations and preparing clear, concise reports
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and competing deadlines
We are always looking for ways to make CPB Contractors a more rewarding place to work and offer a unique set of benefits, including:
- Genuine career pathways supported through training, talent identification and professional development
- Exposure across all construction sectors that enables promotion opportunities
- competitive remuneration and excellent benefits including a health and wellbeing program, discount portal and company-funded salary continuance insurance
- Flexible work arrangements within a culture that values diversity, collaboration and innovation
