Your opportunity
As our Crane & Logistics Coordinator, you'll be at the centre of keeping our projects moving.
Working closely with site teams, subcontractors, suppliers and crane providers, you'll coordinate crane operations, deliveries and site logistics so work can happen safely, efficiently and on schedule. No two days will look exactly the same. One moment you'll be managing crane bookings and delivery schedules, the next you'll be solving a last-minute logistics challenge or working with the project team to keep a critical activity on track.
This role suits someone who enjoys being organised, thinking ahead and bringing structure to a busy environment. You're the person people turn to because you know what's happening, what needs attention, and how to get things moving when plans change.
If you enjoy the fast pace of construction, like working with a wide range of people and take pride in making things happen behind the scenes, we'd love to hear from you.
What you'll be doing
- Coordinating crane bookings and lifting schedules to support project activities
- Working closely with crane providers, subcontractors and site teams to ensure operations run safely and efficiently
- Managing deliveries, site access and the movement of materials and equipment across site
- Maintaining logistics plans and keeping accurate records of crane and delivery activity
- Looking ahead at upcoming work programs to identify potential clashes, risks or scheduling issues
- Coordinating permits, approvals and documentation required for crane and logistics activities
- Communicating schedule changes and keeping stakeholders informed of any impacts
- Supporting project teams with day-to-day logistics planning and coordination
- Building strong working relationships with suppliers, subcontractors and project personnel
- Assisting with reporting, administration and record keeping as needed
- Contributing to a strong safety culture and ensuring activities align with project requirements
What you'll bring
You don't need to tick every box, but you'll bring proven coordination skills and a willingness to take ownership.
- Experience in a logistics, coordination, project support or similar role
- Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities at once
- A proactive approach and the ability to think ahead, anticipate issues and find practical solutions
- Confidence working with a diverse range of stakeholders and building positive working relationships
- A calm, adaptable mindset and the ability to respond when priorities change
- Attention to detail and a commitment to following things through
- Comfortable using Microsoft Office and picking up new systems and processes
- Experience in construction, infrastructure, civil or major projects would be welcomed, but just as important is your ability to coordinate, communicate and get things done
