About the Role
Reporting to the Project Leadership Team, the Senior Design Manager will be responsible for leading and coordinating multidisciplinary design activities across the project lifecycle.
Key responsibilities include:
- Leading the design management function from planning through delivery
- Managing consultants and coordinating multidisciplinary design teams
- Driving design quality, compliance, and project outcomes
- Facilitating stakeholder engagement and design workshops
- Managing design risks and resolving technical challenges
- Supporting program, cost, and constructability objectives
- Ensuring compliance with client, statutory, and project requirements
- Working closely with project delivery teams to achieve successful project outcomes
About You
To be successful in this role, you will bring:
- 10+ years' experience in Design Management roles
- Proven experience delivering major hospital or healthcare projects
- Strong background managing complex multidisciplinary design packages
- Experience working within Tier 1 construction, major projects, or large-scale infrastructure environments
- Excellent stakeholder management and leadership skills
- Strong understanding of design delivery, project risk, and construction methodologies
- Degree qualification in Engineering, Architecture, Construction Management, or a related discipline
