The Project

The Toowoomba to Warwick Pipeline Construction project is delivered by the CPB Contractors and Nacap Joint Venture (CNJV) for Seqwater.

We are currently seeking an experienced General Superintendent for this unique water infrastructure pipeline project (Toowoomba to Warrick) initially Brisbane headquarters based, then mobilising to Toowoomba in early 2027 on a 5:2 DIDO roster.

The Role

The role of General Superintendent is a key Senior leadership role within a unique and diverse project team and will offer the successful candidate an incredible opportunity to further strengthen their career with a Tier 1 organisation.

What You’ll Do

• Provide overall leadership and direction for civil construction activities.
• Lead and mentor Superintendents, Supervisors, and site-based teams.
• Ensure compliance with safety, environmental, and quality requirements.
• Coordinate construction resources, subcontractors, and project stakeholders.
• Monitor productivity, project schedules, and performance targets.
• Identify and manage project risks and implement mitigation strategies.
• Drive continuous improvement and foster a positive site culture.
• Collaborate closely with Project Managers, Engineers, and client representatives.
• Ensure all works are completed in accordance with contract requirements and specifications.

About You

To be successful in this role, you will have:

• Extensive experience in a senior civil construction leadership position
• Proven track record delivering large-scale infrastructure, transport, earthworks, or utility projects.
• Strong leadership and people management capabilities.
• Excellent planning, coordination, and problem-solving skills.
• Thorough understanding of construction methodologies, safety systems, and quality processes.
• Ability to build strong relationships with clients, subcontractors, and project teams.
• Relevant construction, engineering, or trade qualifications.
• Demonstrated commitment to safety leadership and operational excellence.
