Job Duties

• Conduct team meetings daily to allocate work, review logistics and set targets for Supervisors and Foremen. Oversee progress against the production plan on daily basis and adherence to safety and quality guidelines
• Participate in the preparation of Work Method Statements, risk assessments and job hazard analyses in accordance with the risk management process
• Guide team in resolving any operational issues/delays by providing technical guidance
• Monitor site activities closely for reducing wastages and minimize cost of operations
• Resolve conflicts with sub-contractor and raise escalations and seek support from Senior Management
• Report project progress to superiors in a timely manner, highlight any major concerns and seek support on addressing the same
• Sign off on daily time sheets prepared by Supervisor for accurate reporting of resource utilization
• Based on Work Method Statements, estimate equipment and resource requirement
• Develop the layout of site, organize for facilities, power, water and plan for access control and make security arrangements
• Liaise with Construction Managers and Site Agents for securing resources and making logistics arrangements
• Plan and oversee optimal utilization of resources on site (cranes, platforms etc.). Monitor timely in-flow of materials and outflow of material and equipment in line with quality requirements
• Liaise with Safety team to organize periodic training of the project and sub-contractor team on all HSE guidelines of LAIO and local governmental regulations

 Job Requirements

• Total work experience: 10-15 years of experience in construction and site operations
• Knowledge of equipment handling (cranes)
• Knowledge of construction activities
• Knowledge of LAIO and governmental regulations on HSE
