Key Responsibilities

  • Lead multi-disciplinary workshops with clients, contractors, and design consultants to align project requirements are in line with planned construction works and Building Services Engineering.
  • Work closely with Hospital appointed teams to ensure that the equipment schedule is maintained and updated to reflect project programmes
  • Act as the point of contact on all equipment management
  • Analysis of Hospital Authority (HA) Forward Procured Equipment (FPE) to ensure that drawings are released for HA equipment tendering.
  • Analysis of HA Tendering process / programme to align with construction and Building services installations
  • Oversee on-site equipment coordination including vendor management, delivery, and installation of medical and non-medical equipment.
  • Manage the delivery logistics and ensuring room readiness for equipment vendors
  • Initiate, supervise, and guide the development of equipment-loaded room drawings, ensuring alignment with project-specific healthcare technology requirements and operational complexity
  • Develop Room Layout Sheets (RLS), and comprehensive Equipment Schedules.
  • Develop specific equipment composite drawings in line with contract specification.
  • Apply biomedical engineering principles to integrate medical technologies in compliance with HTM, FGI, and other international healthcare standards.
  • Evaluate and sign off on architectural and engineering plans to ensure optimal space utilization, functional workflows, and code compliance.
  • Prepare core planning deliverables including Schedules of Accommodation (SoA), Zoning & Stacking diagrams (ZSC), and Design Review Reports (DRR).
  • Utilize advanced tools such as Revit, AutoCAD, and BIM platforms to produce high-quality planning documentation.
  • Support project quality assurance and implement ISO 9001 Quality Management System procedures.

 

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Architecture or related field; EDAC Certification is beneficial.
  • Over 10 years in healthcare planning and equipment integration.
  • Skilled in Revit, AutoCAD, BIM, and Microsoft Office.
  • Strong knowledge of international healthcare standards.
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills.
  • Proficiency in both written and spoken English and Chinese is desirable
