Job Summary:

We are seeking fo BIM Coordinator or BIM Engineer to support our digital design and construction workflows. This position is to be based at our Bukit Jalil City, Kuala Lumpur office.

 

Job Description & Responsibilities:

1. Model Development & Management

• Create, update, and maintain BIM models for architectural, structural, and MEP disciplines.
• Ensure models are accurate, coordinated, and compliant with project standards.

2. Coordination & Collaboration

• Collaborate with architects, engineers, and contractors to integrate design inputs.
• Conduct clash detection and resolve coordination issues using tools like Navisworks or Solibri.

3. Standards & Execution

• Implement and enforce BIM standards, protocols, and execution plans.
• Ensure consistency across project teams and disciplines.

4. Documentation & Deliverables

• Generate construction documentation, shop drawings, and schedules from BIM models.
• Support the preparation of tender and construction packages.

5. Technical Support & Training

• Provide BIM-related technical support to project teams.
• Train staff on BIM tools and workflows as needed.

6. Innovation & Process Improvement

• Explore and implement new BIM technologies and workflows to improve efficiency.
• Support digital transformation initiatives within the organization.

7. Quality Assurance

• Perform regular model audits and quality checks.
• Ensure data integrity and compliance with client and regulatory requirements.

Requirements:

• Diploma or Degree in Civil Engineering, Structural Engineering, Architecture, or a related field.
• 2–5 years of hands-on experience in BIM modeling or coordination, preferably in a consulting or multidisciplinary engineering environment.
• Proficient in BIM software such as Autodesk Revit, Navisworks, and AutoCAD
• Familiarity with BIM 360, Civil 3D, or other relevant tools is an advantage
• Understanding of clash detection, model coordination, and BIM execution plans (BEPs)
• Knowledge of construction documentation and project lifecycle workflows
• Willing to work in Bukit Jalil, Kuala Lumpur
• Available to start immediately 
• Familiarity with local and international BIM standards is a plus
