Key Accountabilities:

1. To coordinate and assist Superintendent- Environment/HSE in implementation & socialisation on procedures, project instruction, risk assessments & JSEA’s in order to maintain HSE standards & good practices on the projects.
2. To assist in environmental training & awareness promotion program in order to ensure employees & sub/contractors are aware of practice environmental requirements in the work place.
3. To coordinate & assist in inspection & hazard identification & reporting programs in the workplace & follow up on appropriate preventative & corrective actions in order to ensure a environmentally conscious working environment.
4. To keep records & assist Superintendent-HSE & Project Manager/s with the compilation of environmental Data & applicable reports in order to ensure Company & Client environmental record keeping & reporting requirements implemented.
5. To assist & coordinate with project for hazardous substance and chemical management.
6. To report, investigate, & communicate any accidents/incidents at work site & in order to effectively identify root causes, reduce incident rates & prevent recurrence.
7. To assist in the implementation of HSE Management plan at Jakarta Head Office, especially in the environmental aspects.
8. To maintain good relationship with local authorities & officials in order to ensure successful passing of environmental inspections by local authorities on site, and to address any environmental inspection concerns in a timely manner.
9. To attend courses & read publication in order to ensure continued improvement of HSE Management Systems.

Requirement:

• Bachelor Degree in Environmental engineering/science
• Obtained Chemical Safety Certificate will be an advantage
• 5++ solid years experience in environment
• Experience in Environmental related role in similar industry.
• Familiar with Environmental Management Systems & their implementation at an operational level.
• Previous experience in collating data and monthly/quarterly reporting
• Experience in performing audits & inspections
• Intermediate knowledge of environmental legislation as well as ISO 14001 requirements
• Industry best practice
• Intermediate  knowledge of OHS & E
