Responsibilities

• Plan and manage all plant and equipment activities to support construction works safely and efficiently
• Prepare work procedures, method statements, and risk assessments
• Oversee maintenance, inspection, and repair of plant and equipment to ensure reliability
• Manage the deployment and positioning of major equipment (e.g. cranes) on site
• Coordinate material delivery, storage, and inventory to improve site logistics
• Ensure safe installation and operation of site power supply for equipment
• Monitor plant performance, cost, and compliance with safety and regulatory requirements
• Work closely with project teams, suppliers, and subcontractors for smooth operations
• Lead and supervise plant team, including training and performance management
• Partner with the safety team to maintain a strong safety culture on site

Requirements

• Degree or Higher Diploma in Building Services, Mechanical Engineering or related discipline
• Minimum 10 years’ relevant experience in plant / equipment management within construction projects
• Solid experience with main contractors and large-scale projects (hospital / infrastructure experience preferred)
• Strong knowledge in maintenance planning, equipment management, and site logistics
• Familiar with statutory requirements and safety standards in Hong Kong construction industry
• Proven leadership, problem-solving and analytical skills
• Detail-oriented with strong safety awareness
• Good command of written and spoken English and Chinese
