Commercial Manager

Job Duties

• Lead and manage all commercial activities for the data centre project, including cost control, forecasting, cash flow and financial reporting.
• Manage subcontract administration, procurement, variations, claims and contractual correspondence across CSA and MEP packages.
• Review project costs and commercial risks and opportunities, and provide timely advice to the project leadership team.
• Lead commercial negotiations with clients, consultants, subcontractors and suppliers to protect the company’s contractual and financial position.
• Work closely with Project, Engineering, Planning, Procurement and Construction teams to support project delivery, commissioning and handover.

Job Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, Engineering or a related discipline.
• Minimum 8–10 years’ commercial management / quantity surveying experience on major construction projects, preferably data centres or mission-critical facilities.
• Strong experience in cost control, forecasting, subcontract administration, procurement, variations, claims and contract management.
• Experience managing commercial matters across CSA and MEP packages is highly desirable.
• Excellent command of English, both written and spoken, with strong negotiation and stakeholder management skills.
