Job Duties
-
Understand the methods statements & job analysis; Provide inputs to engineers and supervisor on improving the methods statement design; Plan for meeting assigned daily production targets

Translate targets to sub-contractor team in terms of timelines and quality of deliverables in line with safety guidelines

Organize work area and estimate logistic requirements for any equipment; Secure approval for procurement of equipment in timely manner

Supervise works to prevent wastage, keep track of materials, maintain in & out records; Minimize wastage of any material

Conduct daily meetings with subcontractor staff, analyse issues and identify areas for improvement

Resolve issues faced by team (labour / equipment related) and raise escalations to supervisor as needed

Monitor progress against the program milestones for on-time completion; Monitor production rate and provide feedback to supervisor on resource allocation

Check workmanship and quality against specifications in drawings and ITP requirements; Perform other quality tests as required

Provide inputs to supervisor to minimise wastage and optimise material/labour costs; Allocate costs under the correct code.

Track each and every activity going on at the site for timeliness and adherence to quality standards

Review time sheets for each foreman; Check and verify accuracy of time entries

Keep accurate record of sub-contractor staff & utilisation and execution activities (no. of workers on site, any delays due to design changes, lost material etc.)

Circulate daily diary sheet (weather report, delays due to materials, carnage etc.) and submit to receptionists / secretaries for updation
Job Requirements

Degree/Diploma in Civil Engineering or related.

Total work experience: 3-5 years of experience in construction / civil industry in which 5-7 years of experience in foreman role

Knowledge of construction

Knowledge of methods design
-
Knowledge of ISO 4001 audit

Knowledge of environment management systems
