What you’ll do

Working closely with the Lead, Integration Assets, you will be responsible for the set-up, transformation, and migration of critical asset data, ensuring a seamless transition from MACA systems (AMT, MDS and spreadsheets) into JDE.

This is a unique opportunity to support one of Thiess’ largest integration and transformation programs, ensuring reliable, accurate asset data forms the backbone of our operational, financial, and maintenance systems.

Key Responsibilities

  • Create and configure master data including Asset Master, Equipment Master, Machine Strategies, BOMs and Rates.
  • Prepare and execute the migration of transactional data including work orders, defects and SMU readings.
  • Act as the JDE Asset Subject Matter Expert, supporting MACA asset teams (Planning, Fleet, Maintenance Managers, Plant Hire, Estimators) as they transition to JDE.
  • Support the Lead, Integration Assets to deliver data migration activities in line with Go‑Live timelines.

What You’ll Need to Succeed

You’ll bring a strong blend of asset management experience, technical capability and industry understanding, backed by relevant tertiary qualifications. With hands‑on experience working with large datasets, JDE asset modules and asset lifecycle processes, you’ll be confident navigating complex data environments and supporting the successful rollout of new systems.

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business, Asset Management or a related discipline
  • 5+ years’ experience in asset management, maintenance operations or ERP implementation
  • Strong industry knowledge across mining, mining services or heavy industry
  • Extensive experience with JDE, particularly the asset management module
  • Proven ability to work with large datasets, complex structures and asset lifecycle processes
  • Strong data transformation skills (SQL, Excel), analytical capability and understanding of compliance requirements
