The Opportunity

 Roster: 2:1 | Location: Eva Copper, Queensland | Employment Type: Fulltime Max Term Contract

Are you a Site Administrator with a passion for operational excellence and innovative solutions? Thiess is seeking a highly skilled and motivated Site Administrator to join our dynamic team at the Eva Copper Mine Project in the Cloncurry region of Queensland, Australia. In this role, you will play a key part in delivering safe, efficient, and sustainable mining operations, driving technical excellence and supporting project success.

As a key member of the Eva Copper Alliance team, you’ll be responsible for delivering high-quality mine planning and mine engineering processes to support safe, efficient operations and ensure our workforce meets Thiess and industry standards.

Working an 2:1 roster and reporting to the Construction Manager, your duties will include but not limited to:

• Maintain accurate and up-to-date records, ensuring all tasks and responsibilities are completed within required timeframes and to the expected standard
• Timely processing of purchase requisitions and administrative documentation
• Effective coordination of travel, accommodation and site access requirements
• Maintained training, compliance and HR records for employees, contractors and visitors
• Reliable support to operational leadership enabling efficient site performance
• Compliance with HSET standards and internal governance requirements
• Implement and adapt to changes imposed from direct Manager

About you

• Certificate III or IV in Business Administration (desirable)
• Construction Industry White Card (mandatory)
• Current Australian Driver’s Licence (mandatory)
• Minimum 3 years’ experience in a site-based administration role within mining, resources, civil construction or heavy industry
• Experience supporting operational or project-based teams.
