Thiess is seeking an exceptional Senior Account Lead – LAAMP to champion the commercial expansion of our industry‑leading LAAMP platform. In this pivotal business development role, you will identify, shape and secure new enterprise opportunities, grow market presence, and build deep strategic relationships across the mining and heavy industries sectors.

Key Responsibilities

  • Drive the growth and adoption of LAAMP by building and managing a strong enterprise sales pipeline.
  • Lead weekly sales and pipeline reviews with LAAMP and Thiess leadership, reporting quarterly to the LAAMP Board.
  • Develop and execute strategic sales plans across regions and market segments.
  • Maintain accurate sales forecasting and CRM data in Salesforce and a secondary Thiess/LAAMP CRM.
  • Build trusted partnerships with industry stakeholders, clients, technical teams, and the LAAMP development community.
  • Identify new use cases and customer groups to expand LAAMP’s market footprint.
  • Collaborate with customers to build quantifiable business cases that accelerate sales cycles.
  • Work closely with Thiess operations and governance teams to leverage internal use cases for external growth.
  • Lead sales development and targeted marketing initiatives to generate new opportunities.

What you’ll bring

You will bring deep enterprise SaaS sales expertise, with more than a decade of experience driving new business, managing full sales cycles and consistently exceeding revenue targets. Your strengths span technical solution selling, commercial strategy, and the ability to translate complex concepts into clear business value for senior stakeholders. You are highly skilled in CRM use—particularly Salesforce—and comfortable operating autonomously while influencing executive decision makers. With strong market awareness, you leverage insights, pricing strategies, and competitive positioning to shape effective go‑to‑market approaches. A Bachelor’s degree or higher underpins your professional capability, and experience in heavy industries, HR Tech, or MarTech is a strong advantage.

What You’ll Bring — Five Key Strengths

  • Extensive SaaS enterprise sales experience (10+ years) with a strong record of exceeding quotas.
  • Proven ability to generate new business through strategic prospecting, cold outreach, and disciplined pipeline management.
  • Advanced technical sales capability, including crafting proposals, leading solution demos, and articulating complex product value.
  • Strong commercial acumen, including market analysis, pricing strategy, and competitive positioning.
  • Ability to influence senior stakeholders, operate independently, and drive high‑impact sales outcomes using tools like Salesforce.

  • Supportive, inclusive culture that values innovation and continuous improvement
  • Opportunity to work with an amazing team on a high impact project
  • Collaborative, values-led culture with a global reach.
