About the role

The  role surveyor will be responsible for assisting global projects with with bench compliance support

In this role, you will:

• Develop and review TMS survey operational and technical guidelines for tasks undertaken
• Perform timely EOM surface and volumetric audits to ensure compliance to contract and claims
• Analise haul roads to site and company specificatications and communicate results
• Identify possible errors in EOM surfaces and volumes with a focus on projects that have survey services supplied by the client.
•  Manage the results of the analysis to be reported clearly and accurately to projects.
• Make ESRI updates to Blueview and Redview of the compliance results and associated data.
• Liaise with appropriate personnel to plan, coordinate and organize survey analysis
• Ensure effective communication with all internal customers by maintaining a good working liaison with relevant personnel
• Ensure all requests are addressed in an agreed timeframe

About you

• Tertiary qualification in Surveying or equivalent
• Experience in a Mine Surveying environment
• Experience working at a large-scale open cut operation
• Experience in analysis of surfaces and reporting compliance and volumetric results
• GIS experience
• Understanding of mining principles, design concepts and operations (particularly their relation to survey activities)
• Proficient in Vulcan/Points Studio/Deswik
• Esri software skills
• Proficient in photogrammetry software and techniques
• Proficiency in MS Office
• An ability to link the technical outcomes to financial results
• Knowledge of mine operation regulatory and legislative requirements
