About the role
Thiess are seeking an experienced Maintenance Supervisor to join our team at Gruyere on an 8/6 roster (DS:NS), FIFO from Perth. The Gruyere Project is located within the Yamarna greenstone belt approximately 200km east of Laverton in Western Australia
In this role, you will:
- Daily supervision of onsite digger, loader and excavator maintenance personnel - including apprentices and subcontractors to ensure all tasks are carried out safely and efficiently
- Plan, prioritise and execute unscheduled work resulting from breakdown or backlog as directed by the Maintenance Superintendent
- Assist the planning team with resourcing and inventory requirements for short and long term plans
- Liaison with OEM's & suppliers to ensure adequate support is provided to site & issues are resolved including warranty claims in a timely manner
- Ensure all work is completed as scheduled to Thiess quality and safety standards
- Ensure that monitoring tools such as KPIs and oil analysis are utilised to improve maintenance processes.
About you:
- Minimum of 2 years'experience in a similar role, with demonstrable knowledge and experience working on loaders, graders, excavators and diggers
- Heavy Diesel Trade Qualification
- Statutory Declaration Training Supervisor Schedule 26
- Current drivers' licence. (HR Desirable)
- Advanced understanding of drill and blast equipment
