The Opportunity:
Our Maintenance department at Eva Copper is currently seeking an experienced and motivated FMS Technology & Communications Technician. Our next FMS/Ivolve Technician will report to the Maintenance Supervisor and will work collaboratively towards delivering high-quality solutions and results.
As a key member of the Eva Copper Alliance team, you’ll be responsible for supporting safe, efficient production across our fleet while working with a high-performing maintenance team.
As the FMS Technology & Communications Technician, you will:
- Develop, install and commission various Wi-Fi, radio and wireless systems
- Perform the servicing, repair and maintenance of the following systems:
- Fleet Monitoring Systems
- Site telecommunications
- Wi-Fi links & wireless networks
- Autonomous fleet networks
- Work safely and comply with the Site Safety Health and Management System
- Respond to breakdowns on site FMS and autonomous equipment and networks
- Source technical information from relevant reference manuals, technical bulletins, OEM and computer-based systems
- Ensure good housekeeping standards are maintained at all times
- Conduct required inspections to maximise equipment utilisation
