About the role

As our next Warehouse Supervisor to proudly represent our Maintenance Team on an 8/6 roster out at our Gruyere Project, you will live for challenges and thrive on the variety of work available. In this role, you will:

  • Lead, mentor, and support a team of warehouse personnel.
  • Maintain a high standard of housekeeping across the warehouse, yard, and outbuildings.
  • Manage inbound and outbound freight logistics, ensuring safety, accuracy, and timely delivery.
  • Oversee cost-effective and efficient warehouse operations.
  • Receive, dispatch, and track all stock entering and leaving the site.
  • Lead and facilitate toolbox meetings as required.
  • Complete tasks as directed by the Maintenance Superintendent.
  • Actively contribute to continuous improvement initiatives and innovation within Thiess work practices.

About you

  • Previous experience in a similar position within the resources sector.
  • Demonstrated experience and training in Chain of Responsibility requirements.
  • Experience managing a warehousing team.
  • Experience with Pronto or JDE (highly desirable).
  • A current WA driver's licence (HR preferred).
  • A valid forklift ticket.
  • A current National Police Clearance.
  • Possess a positive leadership style, with exceptional time-management skills and the ability to pivot around priorities while providing guidance, assistance, and supervision to the maintenance team.
  • Proven compliance and commitment to health and safety at all times.
