The Opportunity
Are you an organised and proactive administrator with a passion for supporting high-performing maintenance teams? Thiess is seeking an experienced and motivated Maintenance Administrator to join our team at the Olive Downs Complex.
As a key member of the Maintenance team, you'll provide critical administrative support to ensure the smooth operation of maintenance activities, accurate asset data management, and efficient reporting processes that contribute to site performance and success.
Roster: 9-Day Fortnight | Location: Olive Downs Complex | Employment Type: Permanent Full Time
As the Maintenance Administrator, you will:
- Provide administrative support to the Maintenance Department, ensuring key objectives and operational requirements are achieved.
- Maintain asset master records and support accurate data management across maintenance systems.
- Manage daily fuel and oil reconciliations, timesheet administration, and purchase order processing.
- Compile monthly plant reports, balance sheets, and maintenance performance documentation.
- Assist the Maintenance Manager and wider team with additional administrative functions as required.
- Support end-of-month reporting requirements and ensure critical deadlines are met
About you

To be successful in this role, you will be a highly organised and motivated professional who thrives in a fast-paced environment and enjoys working collaboratively with a diverse range of stakeholders.
You will bring:
- Previous experience in an administration role within the mining, maintenance, construction, or heavy industry sectors.
- Strong organisational and time management skills with the ability to manage competing priorities.
- High attention to detail and commitment to delivering accurate and timely outcomes.
- Intermediate Microsoft Office skills, particularly Excel.
- Experience with JDE or similar maintenance/business management systems (desirable).
- Strong communication and relationship-building skills.
- Knowledge of Queensland Coal Mining Safety and Health requirements and/or First Aid qualifications will be highly regarded.
