The Opportunity
Are you an experienced Electrical Maintainer with a strong commitment to safety and operational excellence? Thiess is seeking a motivated CHPP Electrical Operator Maintainer to join our high-performing team at Lake Vermont Mine near Dysart.
As a key member of the CHPP team, you'll be responsible for safely operating, maintaining and servicing the Coal Handling Preparation Plant while supporting reliable plant performance and production outcomes.
Roster: 7/7 | Location: Lake Vermont Mine, QLD | Employment Type: Permanent
As the Electrical Operator Maintainer, you will:
- Operate and maintain all areas of the CHPP, ensuring safe and efficient plant operations.
- Conduct inspections, fault finding, repairs and preventative maintenance on CHPP equipment.
- Contribute to plant reliability, continuous improvement initiatives and compliance with site safety standards.

- Electrical Equipment Hazardous Areas Competency.
- Instrumentation Competencies.
- PLC Experience.
