The Opportunity
Thiess is seeking experienced and motivated Superintendent Plant Admin to join our high-performing team at Indonesia Capability Hub.
As Superintendent Plant Admin, you will:
- Take a lead role within the team in working towards financial goals
- Follow and encourage adherence to business processes relevant to their work
- Demonstrate a broad understanding of Thiess’ functional structure and commercial interest
- Develop and implement strategies to optimize fleet allocations with a target to meet business objectives.
- Maintain ongoing fleet replacement budgets including capital and and disposal budgets
- Follow application of PPSA procedure for all asset movements.
- Capital and disposal planning and compiling of budgets.
- Carry out monthly idle and movement reporting.
- Cash Flow reporting.
- Management of capital project delivery in accordance with approved plans including sourcing quotes, building business cases and cost comparisons.
- Engage with internal and external stakeholders to ensure optimal delivery of capital projects.
- Compiling of business cases and justifications to suit the needs of all operating regions and meet requirements for approval through Thiess and CIMIC.
- Project Management and support for planning and execution of international relocation projects including managing procurement policy standards and suppliers/subcontractors
About you
- Trade Qualified/University degree with 5 years experience in operational roles
- Exposure to mining industry
- Maintenance planning and/or operational exposure
- Good understanding of asset management principles
Commercial acumen and good understanding of accounting principles
Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office suite (Excel, Word, Powerpoint) Macro/VBA experience would be beneficial
Proficient use in JDE
