The Opportunity

Are you safety-focused, reliable, and experienced in material handling with a passion for efficient warehouse and site operations? Thiess is seeking experienced and motivated Forklift Operator to join our high-performing team at Batam Rebuild Centre.

As a key member of the Batam Rebuild Centre team, you'll be responsible for safely operating forklifts to move, load, unload, and position materials and equipment while supporting efficient day-to-day site operations.

Roster: 5:2| Location: PT Thiess Engineering Indonesia, Batam| Employment Type: Permanent Full Time

As the Forklift Operator, you will:

• Safely operate forklifts and material-handling equipment to load, unload, transport, and store materials across the site.
• Conduct pre-start inspections and ensure forklifts and equipment are maintained in safe operating condition.
• Follow site safety procedures, traffic management requirements, and operational instructions while maintaining accurate handling and storage of materials.
• Supporting and contributing to the continuous improvement program is related to the Warehouse department.
• Logistic data assistance & information as per requirement/company needs.
• Implement work safety, health and environmental policies in accordance with company regulations

About you

• Minimum High School
• Minimum 4 years experienced in similar role
• Current forklift licence SIO Class I / II by OHS Kemenaker
• Good understanding of logistic, receiving and standard quality check process.
• Has good data analysis thinking and skills.
• Capable of using Microsoft Office applications.
• Basic conversation and written English
