The Opportunity

Reporting to the Group Manager, People Strategy, you will act as a trusted strategic advisor to Group Functions leaders, partnering closely with executives and leadership teams to align people strategies with business objectives.

This is a broad and influential role that combines strategic thinking with practical execution. You'll work across organisational design, workforce planning, leadership development, talent management, employee relations, culture and transformation initiatives, helping leaders build high-performing and future-ready teams.

Working within a globally connected organisation, you'll collaborate closely with regional People teams and Centres of Excellence to deliver integrated people solutions that support both enterprise priorities and business needs.

Key Responsibilities

  • Partner with executive and senior leaders to develop and deliver people strategies aligned to business objectives
  • Lead workforce planning, succession planning and organisational design initiatives
  • Provide strategic advice on employee relations, workforce risk and governance matters
  • Support leaders through growth, transformation and organisational change programs
  • Facilitate talent reviews and leadership capability initiatives across Group Functions
  • Analyse workforce metrics and provide data-driven insights and recommendations
  • Drive initiatives that strengthen culture, employee engagement and inclusion
  • Partner with Centres of Excellence, Legal and regional HR teams to deliver integrated solutions
  • Influence organisational decisions through commercial thinking, workforce insights and stakeholder engagement
  • Lead and contribute to enterprise-wide people transformation and continuous improvement initiatives

About You

You are a commercially minded HR professional with strong business partnering experience in complex organisations. You bring the confidence and credibility to influence senior leaders while balancing strategic priorities with practical outcomes.

You'll bring:

  • Extensive experience in senior HR Business Partnering roles, ideally within large, complex or global organisations
  • Experience partnering with executive and corporate leadership teams
  • Strong expertise in organisational design, workforce planning and talent management
  • Demonstrated success leading organisational change and transformation initiatives
  • Sound employee relations and employment law knowledge
  • Exceptional stakeholder management and influencing skills
  • Strong analytical capability and the ability to translate data into actionable insights
  • A pragmatic, solutions-focused approach with strong commercial acumen
  • Tertiary qualifications in Human Resources, Business, Organisational Psychology, Commerce or a related discipline
